Timothy Sperling,  MSN, MBA, RN, NEA-BC, CEN

Timothy Sperling is an accomplished nurse executive with more than 20 years of healthcare experience and a career dedicated to advancing patient care, nursing leadership, safety, quality, and professional nursing development. He currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Patient Care Services, Behavioral Health Division, at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, New Jersey, providing strategic and operational leadership for behavioral health services and multidisciplinary teams.

Timothy earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Liberty University in 2007; his Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2015; and his Master of Business Administration from DeVry University in 2019. He is board-certified as a Nurse Executive, Advanced (NEA-BC) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and as a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) by the Board for Certification of Emergency Nurses (BCEN). He is active in the Organization of Nurse Leaders, NJ (ONL NJ), where he serves on the advocacy committee to influence healthcare policy in New Jersey. His combination of advanced nursing, executive leadership, clinical, and business education provides a broad perspective on the complex challenges facing healthcare organizations and the nursing profession.
