Tanya is a published author and has served in numerous leadership positions. She is currently in her second and last term as Vice President of the American Nurses Association-New York, previously served four years as Secretary and was recently reappointed to a second term on the Montefiore Nyack Hospital Board of Trustees. She is experienced in organizational standards, protocols, ethics and policies. Her nursing and academic expertise has been recognized by national, state and local awards. Tanya’s career-long service and leadership in professional and community organizations was recognized by receipt of the State University of New York Chancellor’s Award for Faculty Service and the Top Fifty Distinguished Alumni Recognition Award from Long Island University-Brooklyn Campus. In her retirement she enjoys the freedom to travel and explore the world.
